The goal of the Navy Common Database (NCDB) is to create a collaborative environment containing the collection, accreditation, storage, and dissemination of authoritative data for analysis and usage in Naval Model & Simulation (M&S) efforts.  The NCDB will document and organize data for credibility of results and reuse, and will reduce upfront costs associated with each organization having to build databases from scratch.  This is the first phase of a four-phase, multiple-year acquisition strategy, sponsored by N81 with a Program Management team led by the Naval Air Systems Command, Warfare Analysis Department.

Teamed with SRA International, Inc., PTI is recognized for technical excellence in building sophisticated databases similar to the NCDB concept for other DOD clients, including the JSF Authoritative Systems Database.
